Mr. Smith is truly a wonderful first grade teacher. He taught two of my boys, and I can say that he had them well prepared for 2nd grade. He is also a wonderful role model for our children. He works very hard and makes learning fun! I can only imagine what he could do with a technology loaded classroom! Good luck Mr. Smith and class! You all did a great job!!!! One of the best entries of the contest so far. Good song parody and a nice job involving the students, however with the video titled "click it," it would have been nicer to see more shots of students actually using technology as opposed to dancing. Don't get me wrong though - the dancing is great! I just thought there was a bit too much and would have liked to see a little more technology. Liked this one though

To the "Techno Eskimos". I don't believe they do count the votes. Really right now people are just "rating" the videos with stars and they don't count as votes. On the 31st they will pick the top five from each grade level. Then, people can really begin casting their votes for their favorite out of the finalists. I'm pretty sure the slate is wiped clean and the top five from each grade level start off evenly. Good luck guys! Thank you for the compliment!!!

We have been working on writing friendly letters in class this month. Above is a copy of the letter that the kids wrote to all of our "fans". I also wanted to thank everyone for all of the support.
