Other than the school's desperate need for technology, this video should win because of its originality. Every other video just shows students being bored in class and not learning, then all of a sudden BAM! they have technology. This video is different in that it shows students trying to get technology to help out all the students in the school. Pretty cool effects too :)

The camera could've have been a student camera and the editing could've been done by students in their own home.

Actually, knight93, it's very possible for students to film something and edit at home. And this competition isn't for technology to be brought home, but for the school. Obviously the school doesn't have very good technology, just talented students with good editing skills.

Even simple programs like Windows Movie Maker can do fancy editing, if you know how to utilize it correctly. This just shows that these students will not waste the technology given to them. Despite their apparent lack of technology at school, they can still put what they have to good use.
